All of the entertainers involved with Five Star Entertainment, Inc. are paid professionals and have experience in the performing arts throughout Maryland, and a few even belonging to various acting unions. Five Star Entertainment, Inc was created in 2006 by Anna Mayr and Jennifer Lynch.
Anna Mayr
Co-Founder
Anna has been performing since the age of three, when she first took the stage to sing at a wedding. Since then she has performed at many churches, weddings, theaters, festivals, sport events, and venues throughout Maryland and D.C. One of her recent appearances, which led to the beginning of Five Star Entertainment, Inc., was an audition in New York City for NBC’s Grease: You’re the One That I Want. Anna was favored by the writer of Grease, Jim Jacobs, but experienced a loss when the other two judges believed her voice was to “poppy” and “mature” for the part. Not letting this loss get the best of her, Anna took her love for the performing arts and turned it into a profession by opening Five Star Entertainment, Inc. with business partner and good friend, Jennifer Lynch.
Jennifer Lynch
Co-Founder
Jennifer has been in the entertainment business for over seven years and the wholesale business for 14 years. She is an entrepreneur and part owner of Five Star Entertainment, Inc. Her most recent adventure includes the opening of Caldarazzo’s Pizzeria. Jennifer opened Caldarazzo’s in the Dundalk area as a way of giving back to the community she grew up in. Jennifer is well known in the Baltimore area for her business achievements, including the sale and import of various hair accessories that are now used worldwide. She is a proud wife and a mother of a Dalmatian named Ariel.
